A new drabble on the "Road to Zanzibar". Previous ones are here.

Dawn already lounged on the couch in a bathrobe and towel turban, while
Xander and Giles sat on some hastily spread sheets of newspaper, waiting for Jamila to finish in the shower.

"You know guys", said Dawn, "we could have done without the black gunk all over."

"Don't look at me", growled Xander. "I was in position. If Giles had thrown me the Al Ayad fetish so I could smash it inside the protective circle."

"You said 'throw me the ball'. Pardon my cultural biases, Xander, but I still do expect balls to be spherical, not some vaguely ovoidal shape."
